AUTHORIZED SERVICE PROVIDERS & CONTRACTORS

  • BANNED CONTRACTORS/PROVIDERS: The following people are not allowed on property to do any work of any kind either under an individual name or any other named entity:
    • WILLIAM H. “BEAU” or “BO” CURRIER;
    • DALE NEAL; K&N Contracting;
    • John Vickers; Vickers Design/Build;
    • Natco Construction, LLC; Korey Nations;
    • Thomas B. Burnett; Tom Burnett Electric;
    • Crestwood Movers   (found through Uhaul/Moving Help).
    • American Eagle Moving & Transport, LLC.
    • Best Buy Delivery Company: Home Services Experience
  • Media access is strictly governed by the applicable rules and Hanover’s Board of Directors. Only authorized media service providers may be used for media services.
    • *The above satellite provider is the only one authorized to come onto the property and provide service.  Failure to call this exact number will result in either not getting service or an extreme delay in getting service. This is a condominium property and not a normal residential home install, therefore third-party retailers, bundles with other services, and calling a national 800 number despite what they may tell you will not work here.
    • **Spectrum (formerly Brighthouse) previously had an agreement with HAI to only send employees and not third-party providers. Unfortunately, the person in management that arranged that is no longer at Spectrum and they refuse to honor this request. When you have an appointment with Spectrum email John Tomlinson so that he will know the date and time of the appointment and be able to better inspect the work done so that he can work with Spectrum to have sloppy work corrected.
    • ***Direct TV is not authorized even though it is now owned by AT&T.
  • NOTE: Telecommunication services may only be provided by Board approved service providers.
  • Any, home repair or construction that is beyond cosmetic requires the written pre-approval of the Board. Heavy fines are imposed for violations. Please check the Rules page and alert the Board prior to starting any construction. Scott Gibbs with Criterium Carlysle-Gibbs Engineers will have to perform an inspection before and after any structural alteration at the cost of the owner. He can be reached at 205-744-5004.
  • Mailbox keys/locks: Click the contact page and email HAI to have your mailbox lock replaced.
  • ****Lowe’s, Home Depot, & Best Buy hire independent contractors to do deliveries and installs and they refuse to provide the certificate of insurance and state licenses as required by HAI documents. Therefore, no owner may contract with these companies for installs dealing with plumbing or electrical or do any work on the property. This does not prohibit an owner from having deliveries to the property, but the owner is responsible for any damages that may occur. Best Buy now uses Home Services Experience to deliver appliances and they are banned and prohibited from coming on the property.
  • No work shall be performed without HAI having licenses and insurance information on file.
  • Roof access is restricted and is by appointment only.
  • For any repair that may be the result of a common line or issue, Harris Services will perform the work. The Board will only be responsible for repair costs that would have been charged by one of the above-recommended providers. No one may authorize work to common elements other than the Board.
  • Anything that is more than cosmetic in nature requires Board approval. Failure to do so will result in an automatic $2500 fine regardless of the care taken.
  • In no way shall this information be construed as HAI accepting any liability for or providing a guarantee as to the work done or not done by anyone listed herein.
